This place is absolutely amazing! Granny and Lanna are super nice and helpful, the rooms are very clean and are replinished daily, and the waterfall at the bottom of the hill is very relaxing. There are many things to around the area as well. We will definitely be recommending and revisiting Tiger Creek Falls Inn! You will not be disappointed!
Super cute! A little dated but it was very charming and the river was beautiful. Despite being off a main road it felt like a cabin in the forest. It was very homey. The rooms have a lovely kitchen area and bedrooms, at night the owner turns on the fire pits and brings out backyard games to play and even has little smores kits and hot apple cider and cocoa. We absolutely loved it there and it is only about 8 minutes from Tallulah Gorge State Park. Another great gem close by is Tallulah 1882, had really great coffee there.
A hidden gem in the mountains near Tallulah Gorge. The cabins are plenty spacious and quaint. It's a unique experience nestled on the mountainside with waterfalls outside the window. Locally owned and operated for that personal touch. We got food recommendations from the owner that were amazing. 5 minutes from downtown Clayton!
This is a great little place to stay. Grannie is awesome and the sweetest person you'll ever meet! Even the housekeeper is awesome! They are willing to help you in any way possible. The rooms are very cozy. Waterfalls are just a few yards away. Very good location. It's right in the middle of a lot of parks and attractions. We will definitely be coming back!
My husband stayed here for one evening and we are so glad we did. This place was so nice and the lady that helped us was extremely nice too! This is a charming place to stay and the waterfalls are beautiful. Well worth the money!
Granny and Grandpa Ballard are the sweetest, nicest people ever and they really care about their facilities. Granny greeted me with a big smile and walked me right to my family's cottage after I arrived and hour late well after 10pm. She walked us through the entire facility and told us about all of the features before leaving us to go to bed herself. The cottage was extremely clean, smelled great and had everything my family needed. The pair of waterfalls were beautiful and the sound (that I could hear just outside my door) was very soothing. The next morning Grandpa told me all about how he built the place. Would go back in an instant. One of the most "exceeded my expectations" experiences of my life. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful location, the family that operates it are very nice people, the rooms are clean, and it is reasonably priced. The town of Clayton is just minutes away, with all amenities. Most of the suites have at least a partial view of the small waterfall on the property, and the rest are only a minute's walk away from the viewing deck. The only reason that I withhold the last star is the design of the place. Most of the rooms interconnect, and the noise bleed through those doors can be annoying- the gap under one of ours was about a full inch. The rooms were built to the contour of the hollow which leaves some of them with some odd floor plans; the bathroom in our last room was L-shaped, with the toilet in a tiny nook, and the sink in the main room. Blackout curtains would be nice, as the security lights keep the window shades lit brightly at night. Overall, this place is a great getaway at the price. The picture was taken the day after there were flood warnings in the area. Not to worry, the rooms are far above the deck. The creek is normally much more placid!
Excellent large, clean pleasingly decorated , comfortable room with fully equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom.. the best sleeping bed we have ever slept on in a motel .. ..Sleeping with the window open listening to the soft, gentle , and so calming sounds of the falls outside our window...the view of the falls from our window and numerous comfortable chairs to enjoy the falls on the multiple decks.Walking the trail to the creek side was enchanting with all the tiny characters on the path. .the trail was easily walked with handholds and places to sit and picnic is wanted...We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Will definitely enjoy this unique place again .. .Staff very friendly and accommodating..
